Gems not showing up in stash search

I have several tabs full of gear. A lot of them have gems in the sockets. I was always able to search for those gems by typing in the search box.

Recently this doesn't work any more. Gems are ignored and only items are considered in the search. I think this started with the new league.

When I remove the gem from the item socket and add it back it is now able to show up in search. The same thing happens if I remove and re-add the item containing the gem.

As you can imagine this makes it extremely tedious to look for gems in tabs full of items since I have to mouse over all of them.
