Certain essences not respecting calcification, nor respecting atlas tree nodes

While having a scarab of ascent and the atlas passive tree node: "Amplified Energies", at minimum one essence for every essence monster should be Deafening. Pic below shows this isn't the case with specific monsters, it seems to be beast related, and not sure why.



Additionally, calcification is not imprisoning specific monsters (again, beast related). This is also outlined in the bug report post.

These bugs have been reported before during settlers. Would like to shed more light on them. The original bug reporter has a lot more direct information that would be useful.

+1 can confirm, this is happening to me as well.

If I had to guess, maybe a weird order-of-operations with specific scarabs or even specific scarab slots on the map device?

If the beasts are added after the scarab of ascent is applied, but the area still sees "rare mob" and applies calcification? It would be odd for atlas passives to be triggering between scarabs, but I'm no code wizard, and I've seen worse.
