Scourge arrow Toxicologist is applying poison/dealing damage even with Akoya's Gaze

Hello!

I'm using Akoya's Gaze on my Toxicologist so she doesn't brick my Viper Strike of the Mamba build (enemies always have to be full HP and not poisoned), but somehow some of her attacks are still dealing damage/poisoning monsters.

This should not happen, right?

Akoya's Gaze reads: "Non-exerted Attacks Deal No Damage". She doesn't have a warcry skill so her attacks should never be exerted, which means she shouldn't be doing any damage.

Ohh what I shame, I was at the gym, saw your previous message and was excited to go back home and try it out XD.

I'm still trying to find solutions :(

I can confirm the culprit is Chaotic Shot. It deals damage even when it shouldn't because of the helmet

Hello, another possible fix could be any item with "Ancestral Bond", like on a Skin of the Lords(it is probably the only one a Dex mercenary can equip).

This Keystone disables your own damage, only able to deal damage with Totems. Your merc has no totems, so this might work.

This is a possible path indeed, but sadly Skin of the Lords cannot be equipped by the Merc.

It seems like the only option for now is fishing for a Bladebitter with Grace + Malevolence, but it can take ages to find one.
