Please Confirm Scarab Atlas Nodes Work!

Any atlas passive tree that I allocate points into the scarab circles I get way less scarabs then without them allocated. When I have them allocated I only get 1-3 within a map without them allocated i'm getting them left & right. I think this is bugged can someone from GGG please confirm & look into this?
