Constant crashes when boss has too many cards

I run the Ambush strategy and use the Divination Scarab of Pilfering. There are maps where I manage to put 150+ cards into the boss. If I fail to kill him the first time and die, I return to the location and have a 100% crash every time the boss appears on my screen. That is, I can reproduce this every time the boss has 150+ cards. For testing, I called a couple of friends and they also had an immediate crash.

Please fix this. The whole point of the strategy and the scarab itself become useless.
