Large latency spikes when interacting with monsters in zones/maps
Hi there, I'm having an issue in regards to latency spikes when interacting with monsters in zones.
When I'm in maps or zones, oftentimes when I interact with a pack of monsters my latency will spike - the larger amount of monsters the larger the spike. I'll go from 30-60 ping running around, to 600-1500 ping after striking a pack, sometimes unable to control my character or being rubber-banded for close to 30 seconds in some scenarios when playing with a friend. There have been issues where I've died, my friend tells me I've died, and on my screen I've been able to run around for ~10 seconds until finally the game freezes for a second and I'm dead. This is a new issue and I haven't encountered this in Leagues previously. ----------- INFO - Windows 10 64 bit - Steam Client - WiFi, I'm unable to connect via ethernet cable - WiFi card - ASUS PCE-N15 11n Wireless LAN PCI-E Card - Adaptor Type - IEEE 802.11 wireless WHAT IVE TRIED - PoE x64 Steam, and PoE Steam client are allowed through my firewall - Rebooted modem - Rebooted PC - Changed renderer, DX11, DX12, Vulkan - Disabled sound in production_Config.ini (sound_effects_volume2=false) - Switched from Predictive to Lockstep, caused freezes where my character and any entities on screen wouldn't move during spikes - I've switched server locations across the globe ----------- I performed the WinMTR test, please see the pastebin link here https://pastebin.com/RdQEy7RR Please let me know if there's any other info I can give that can be useful to diagnose.
