Smoulderstrike AI
Smoulderstrike Mercenary somehow constantly changes target, even if there is no other target near it causing it to idle a lot of the time.
Also it seems hat Inflame even though it has a low cast time causes the Smoulderstrike to idle as well. (Notable with Second Wind Support at the start of a map, where he idles 2 seconds on the first pack) Sometimes he also targets a monster in the middle or the other side of the pack. Causing him to get stuck in the pack, but not attacking anything, even though he is surrounded by monsters. I think an easy fix would be to give him some melee strike range. An update to this post:
I annointed melee strike range on the merc and it did not fix the problems. Giving him Phasing with a Quartz Flask and Ceinture of Benevolence worked best so far. I also got a new version of him with Leap Slam. Sadly he never uses Leap Slam to close gaps to enemies but seemingly only when he is engage with one and jumps to another. With Leap Slam he also gets stuck inside of enemies causing him to be unable to damage that enemy even though he is attacking. (Happens primarily on single targets that moved) |

+1 to this. I just got a smoulderstrike with molten strike and observed the same thing. He seems pretty bugged.

I have no idea how the Bug Report ID works. But I recreated this Bug Report ID in a Maven Fight where every time he leap slammed onto maven/the brain he could not damage them anymore. Since the merc does this all the time, even when he is in striking range and actively attacking, this fight took me ages... even though he has the damage to kill her in seconds.
