Game won't run after update
After updating the game on steam, each time I try running the game it says verifying and then takes 15 minutes to do so, after which when the game opens it says there has been a patch and that I need to restart the game.
This has been happening for the past few leagues. Last bumped on Jul 2, 2025, 6:12:44 AM

I too am having the same issue following the deployment of patch 3.26.0d.

" I didn't get your comment at first, but you were spot on - about Milan; no idea about your looks /s I was indeed playing on Milan, and kept getting the above error, followed by Steam verifying the game files, etc. FWIW, after trying to log in once again, and being told once again there was a new patch I was missing, I switched to Paris and could log in and play without issues. |

I can confirm. After update and trying login to the game on Milan I got messages about Need of update of the client (steam version). Funny thing is that game updated 3 times... But after 3rd time and login to Paris it works.

Not choosing Mila helps me log in but i still have to wait 10-15 minutes every single time for the game to validate files before i can even open it

same issue here, since the recent patch Steam Validates every single Gamestart then opens POE and when i want to login message "theres a new game version you need to install it" comes, after clicking ok for a few times it still logs in and I can play without an issue.

Same issue for me.
Game verifies every time I start it, can't log into specific servers (Milan). If I manually verify the game data I can start it one time without the verify and can log into Milan server, but as soon as I restart the client it has to verify again and can't log into Milan. Edit: forgot to mention steam client Last edited by DarcLight#2782 on Jul 2, 2025, 6:13:19 AM
