Path of Exile 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion - Act 2 Cruel Ascendancy Issue - Forum

Hi, Currently in Act 2 Cruel Mode - during the Ascent to Power quest I completed the Ascendancy Trial, but I teleported back to Ardura Caravan before actually completing the quest, then when trying to teleport back I was unable to (the portal was unresponsive). Upon returning to Trial of the Sekhemas I realised that I would have to complete the trial again but I no longer have the coin to do so - am I screwed until I find another coin? I was hoping to use the opportunity to change ascendancy from Pathfinder to Deadeye, although i'm not sure if changing ascendancy is even possible. " Redoing an Ascendancy Trial now allows you to respec which Ascendancy Class you have chosen at the Ascension device, but only if the Trial would grant you the number of points you already have. In order to respec your Ascendancy class, you must have zero points allocated in it, but you can now talk to Balbala or The Trialmaster to Refund Passive Points.
