Do General’s Cry Mirage Warriors benefit from Nightblade Support or Elusive in any form?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a pretty unusual setup and would love some input from fellow theorycrafters. I'm currently playing a Blade Flurry + General’s Cry build, using the Saboteur ascendancy, recently reworked to grant “Your critical strikes are lucky”. I’m stacking a lot of crit and attack speed, aiming for high poison damage from the mirage warriors. (with daggers crit = 100% poison chance)

🔍 My question is:

Do mirage warriors summoned by General’s Cry benefit from the effects of Nightblade Support?
And if not, can they benefit from Elusive in any form, either via my own buffs or theirs?

✅ What I know / suspect so far:

General’s Cry is not tagged as a “Minion” skill, and the mirages are not traditional minions. They instead inherit most of the player's offensive stats at the time of summoning.

If I link Nightblade to Blade Flurry, which is used by the mirages, they might technically benefit from it (assuming they crit and get Elusive themselves).

However, Elusive from my own crits (with Nightblade) likely does not transfer to them, since buffs like Elusive are not inherited post-summon.

There's conflicting information around this, especially since Nightblade explicitly cannot support “skills that create minions”, and General’s Cry doesn’t create minions per se — it creates proxies/mirages.

So far, I haven’t found a definitive confirmation — some players report that Nightblade does nothing, others claim it might affect mirages indirectly through the skill they use (Blade Flurry).

💡 Why I'm asking:

I'd like to know if this kind of interaction is worth building around, or if it’s just wasted gem slots. The idea of mirage warriors gaining Elusive (and bonus crit multi) from Nightblade would be powerful — but only if it actually works.

Has anyone tested this thoroughly?
Any dev insights or in-depth PoB testing?

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Mirages are basically moving Totems. They cannot gain Elusive. However, any supported skill linked to Nightblade will gain the effects related to Elusive while YOU have it. If you want to benefit from it, you need to have Elusive on yourself at pretty much all times.

Thanks,

Yeah with the chance to crit is lucky, is possible to have elusive up all of the times. For now I'm playing with the gloves that sets my crit damage to 300% so the Noghtblade support is useless damagewyse at the moment. I'll see if I swap to heavy crit damage investissement later.
