Harvest crafting

If i have a amulet with 3 prefixes + 3 suffixes and use Harvest's craft for "add a new SPEED modifier and remove another random modifier from a non-influenced item". Would it always remove a random suffixe from the amulet as long as speed modifiers are only suffixe?

It seems you can't use this craft because it needs to add a mod first and there's no space.
