Infernal Cry + Shield Crush

If i trigger "combust" from Infernal Cry effect by using a off-hand attack like "shield Crush". Would "combust" check for my "shield Crush" damage or for my weapon damage ? (plus all other base damage sources)

I think the buff from the war cry will apply to all your physical damage for the duration, so should apply to your Shield crush damage, if using that attack, based on how much physical damage it does. If alternatively, you do physical damage from another source, like your main hand weapon, it will apply on that damage. It can even work for spells I believe, if they have a physical component.

This is separate to combust though, as far as I understand. Combust triggers on exerted attacks, it is a separate effect to the buff, but it should be triggering on exerted Shield crush attacks, because it satisfies as a melee attack.

There's quite a bit going on with Infernal cry though, I don't have a great grasp of all the interactions.

Have you tried looking at it on POB? I think it will be possible to see if it is applying there.

Weapon damage, Combust is a separate attack with its own scaling.

Yep, better answer to the question. I got confused and explained the buff which OP wasn't really asking about. It's a skill with a lot of components.
