Trapped outside the map

After defeating the boss in the wetlands map (endgame), I found myself trapped outside the map boundary and could not walk in again afterwards. By the way I couldn't pick up the reward.
I tried teleporting out and then back into the map, but it didn't work.
Looks like there's something wrong with that sandworm-like Boss.
