is CI bugged?

I just FAILED mastermind lair. Like first time in years. I got to last phase, then i just died. Walked into arena, immediately died again. 4 times. Is something draining my HP or some ability bypassing my chaos immunity? I am using CI.
also whats with the pink bolts of the new enhanced monsters? they one shot me all the time. The projectile is so small and fast, its hard to notice among all my projectiles flying all over the screen. What kind of damage is it doing anyway? I have never died as many times as in this league, its infuriating. Definitely somethings wrong with the game mechanics. Last bumped on Jun 21, 2025, 1:14:19 PM

Here are her attacks. They are all fairly telegraphed. CI won't help you much I don't think.
Carpet Mortar - Darkness swarms! - Spell which fires a barrage of soul projectiles in front of her 25% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage X Circle - Mortal! - Drops a scythe from the sky which then expands in X shape Deals Physical Damage Circle X - Feel death's grip! - Large skull appears with X-shaped bite effect Deals Physical Damage Volatile Object Explode - Arise, my children. Feed! - Spawns many skull on the ground that will turn into crawling skeletons if not destroyed by walking into them within 10 seconds. Crawling skeletons will explode on contact. 50% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage Sideways Carpet Bomb - Spell which spawns multiple small green bombs on the floor, which will then detonate in sequence 50% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage Scythe swing - Your soul burns for me!- Scythe attack with long range Deals 100% more Damage Can't be Evaded Rollout - Give your soul to me! - Teleports to the player and charges an area of effect attack that increases in AoE if the player moves away Deals 200% more Damage 25% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage Unearth Slam - Kulemak! - Throws her staff into the ground which leaves a damaging area effect pool (?) Deals Physical Damage Donut of Destiny - and later detonates into a nova of projectiles [confirmation needed] Deals Physical Damage Soul Mortar - Barrage of soul projectiles without a voiceline 50% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage Skills fire an additional Projectile Barrage - ? 80% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage Teleport - Catarina repositions herself I poop, therefore I am.

" thanks for the list, but neither of these explains why I die as soon as I enter the boss area. I mean immediately without the boss being anywhere near me. I killed her literally hundreds of times before, I know the fight, thats why I suspect something bypassing my CI |

do you play this character in other content without any bother?
do you do any gear swaps before the fight? do you put on a flask that spends life or a gem or some sort of equipment? when you die do you still have ur energy shield? do you have 0 life and ur dead but theres still a chunk of your es sitting there? I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
