Runegraft of gemcraft

I have a +1 socketed gems implicit Dialla's Malefaction and I socketed my lvl 6 awakened added chaos damage in a red socket, which gives me level 8, then I used runegraft of gemcraft which raises it to lvl 10 and makes the awakened added chaos give +2 to supported skill gems, but for whatever reason, it actually does not give it.

TLDR: I got my awakened added chaos damage to lvl 10 using the new runecraft of gemcraft, and it should give +2 to my main skill but it still only gives +1.

I had the same problem with the new amulet... the +gem levels for high level awakened supports doesn't seem to be applying.
