Mercenary item changed

I picked an item from a merc that had certain modifiers I wanted (+2 to minion skill gems and chaos res). When I killed the merc however it dropped a different helmet item. Below is the item it actually dropped. I don't know if you can find the item it was supposed to drop but that sounds like a mess for sure.

Same thing just happened to me. Wanted these great gloves, a completely different one dropped. Looked everywhere, nothing else on the ground. This bug still exists.
