For the love of god do not use AI to answer PoE questions. This is just straight up wrong. If you or the merc dont have access to additional curses only one curse will be on an enemy at a time.

Mercs operate the exact same way an AG would.

You can equip them with all sorts of "curse on hit" gear but this will override your curse every single time, unless you or your Merc/AG are equipped with gear granting extra curses.

BTW: Mark of Submission ring + cursegem will not work.
