Mercenary disappears

My mercs keep disappearing. I go to one area and they're there, I go to another and they're gone. Back and forth, they disappear. I relog and merc reappears, change areas and it's gone.

Am I missing some basic merc function or information? It's been about 80-90 times today and none yesterday.

Haven't experienced this.

My problem is that I keep disappearing when fighting them.

On my ps5 the mercenary recall spell disappears. There is no way to reliably recall the mercenary from combat.

Same issue here. I go back to town and put merc on reserve then reinvite. Go back to zone... not there. Try adding another merc. Same not there. Move to other zones and sometimes they appear some they stay missing...

They seem to go missing for that area when you switch mercs in addition to when they die.

(Remember that you can «force-reload» a campaign area by Ctrl-clicking the entrance.)
