Path of Exile 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion - Spectral Helix of Trarthus with the passive Adder's touch - Forum

I have spec into the passive point Adder's touch which provides: +25% to damage over time multiplier for poison from critical strike, critical strike with daggers poison, however i do not see the poison proccing on the hit when the spectral helix trap hit the enemy, is this interaction normal?
