Astral Projection interaction with Traps/Arcanist Brand

A Cautionary tale for those who still browse the forums

During league start testing I was curious thinking of an interaction to use Astral Projector, one of my favorite unique items. During my tests I found a neat synergy with Stormblast Mine, I was excited!

So I started seeing how High-Impact interacts with Astral Projector with say, Ice Nova. A success! Shock Nova, Dark Pact (impractical but cool), and Voltaxic Burst all similarly worked as assumed with Ice Nova's success.

Mines, Totems too, both these have synergy with Astral Projector when supporting the nova skills properly!

The testing was leading me towards the hope of having a Sunblast trapper, Astral Projecting Ice Nova's everywhere. A true chaos of Ice Novas all over my screen.

However, my dear fellow exiles, with not much to fully understand why, traps and arcanist brand do not work with Astral Projector :')
