So, normally, it's best to just pick up some magics and rares to fill out your equipment on your own and save your currency. However, if you really NEED to farm or maybe you like to farm OR you're playing ruthless then the best way is to refarm "content" such as Legion in A1 or Ritual in A2 OR you can farm Labrynth in A3.

You're looking at zones like tidal island(A1), chamber of sins(A2, has guaranteed magic packs) and city of sarn(A3), smaller layouts with almost no variance to repeat whatever the current league mechanic is since league mechanics tend to generate decent leveling gear and at least some currency.

Alternatively you can go for A3 lab runs for currency from the boxes at the end and sell meta transfigured gems.
