Cant join other players and others cant join me

If I want to play with some else it keeps on saying we are on different league. Same for the trading, already made sure to be on the correct league selection yet it doesn't work. Same message need to trade with players in the same league...

If you are getting that message, then you and the other players are in different leagues. Remember that it’s not just e.g. Settlers League. There’s Settlers League, Hardcore Settlers League, SSF Settlers League, HC SSF Settlers League… you both need to be in precisely the same league (and not in SSF).
