CPU stutters

After playing 2 maps, I start getting CPU ms spikes/stutters.

It did not happen throughout campaign, only starts happening once I get to maps.

Example in hideout after 2 maps: https://youtu.be/4GdimIpjcWw

Ryzen7800X3D and 4080 Super. Only happens in PoE II.

Been the same since launch.

Same here! But I only noticed it in the last couple of days, not from the beginning.
Getting it too!
Same issue with the same hardware after the 0.2.0f patch, before that everything was fine
Can confirm I am also now experiencing these CPU microstutters since the most recent patch. Did not experience the issue prior to that.

CPU bounces up from 2-3 MS up to 20-30MS every few seconds which causes frametimes to spike in direct proportion at the same time. This results in very frequent and noticeable hitches in gameplay.

Happens everywhere, whether idling or in heavy combat.

I can "alleviate" the spikes by turning off 'Engine Multi-threading' but this also causes my framerate to drop by anywhere up to 50%, so its not really a proper solution.

I am also on a 7800X3D with a 4080.
I've been running into the same issue. I've found what I think is the problem. The game is only running on a single core, and continues to reset affinity when I try to force it to use more of the processor.

I'm able to temporarily fix the CPU spikes by going into Task Manager and manually setting the process to leverage more threads. When I make that setting change the performance immediately becomes smooth. However, the affinity settings will then reset back to a single core after 30 seconds/min/whatever, introducing performance issues again.

Can you check your affinity settings while the game is running to see if it's only using four threads? And if the game resets affinity for you as well after manually forcing the process to use more? I'm wondering if this is a more common issue. I've tried changing a bunch of the settings in-game, including multithreading, but it doesn't change the issue.
