Canada (East) Gateway Lagging and Crashing

Since launch Canada east gateway has been less responsive, lagging, and crashing.

My group of friends all experience similar issues and we live in separate regions.

For now switching to Washington DC gateway resolves all issues.

This is STILL an issue, and it affect both PoE1 and PoE2.
Server Selection on start screen will say ~15ms ping, but then in-game in any actual instance, it's ALWAYS 80ms, never lower.
Images proof:

Still appears to be the case as of today.
Oh, er... gunpowder, nitroglycerin, notepads, fuses, wicks, glue, and... paper clips, big ones. You know, just, uh, office supplies.
GGG, can you at least acknowledge this issue?
This have been an issue for more than 6 months, possibly going all the way back to the launch of Settlers league...

The 80ms+ ping is because the Canada East login server usually sends you to an instance server in Vancouver. It will occasionally be in Montreal, but for the past many months has generally been a server located in Vancouver and routes across the US. This is undesirable for anyone on the east side of the continent.

I'm not saying that there haven't been other problems with these servers. I gave up on them for being unreliable and switched to DC again.

Another thread reporting this issue for poe2 (also with no response).
Has GGG not responded or acknowledged that this issue exists? From what I am seeing... this issue has been around for at least 2-3 days... but I had no issues as of last night, 07/03/2025, but when I logged in today I have not been able to stay logged on for more than 2 minutes without being timed out because my ping was 20k+. As long as I am not running PoE, it appears that I do not have any latency issues in general... but once I get a latency spike in game... my overall network connection on my PC follows suit.
Is there any way we could have someone at GGG to look into this? Seems like we are most of the time routing to Vancouver instead of Montreal(?). Quite annoying for people of the East coast.

Bumping this, this have been an issue for a long time now

(Edit: sorry for bumping it myself, I wanted to bump the other duplicate thread that Pehr#3739 linked but I bumped the wrong one)

Bumping this, yet again as nothing seems to get done or even addressed...
