So incinerate is not a projectile spell but benefits from projectile, marked as AOE but doesn't benefit from aoe increases so does it benef8t form hit even through it doesn't do hits and only props ignite? This has my breain shorting out because the descriptions are so bare boned its painful (Poe2)

incinerate doesn't do damaging hits, but it does hit, which is weird, but that's why i work with some things like cast on ignite (since it requires hits to build up energy).incinerate scale up its ignite damage over time based on a theorical hit (deal damage over time as though dealing x to y fire damage) so you want to scale up that hit portion, with increased and added fire damage, and also buff your dot and ignite effects itself to get the most damage.the hit part of the skill is also there to make a count for the exposure debuff.when you channel at an ennemy, you see the stacks start appearing after you reach the max stage, and then each "hit" applies up to 7% exposure until it reach 50%.the aoe part of the skill is actually only its length,it doesn't change how wide it is,but that also means you still make the ignited ground at the very end of the flame,so if you have a lot of aoe, you'll make the ignited ground farther and farther away from you.for the projectile part,i don't know how to concluded that it benefits from projectile stuff, since it doesn't seem to at all from what i've tested.it also doesn't have the projectile tag.
