Leagues in Endgame

to GGG:

one of the main reasons that i stopped playing poe1 and diablo 4 was because seasonal content forced me to start new characters, where i would prefer to just play one.

for this reason, i think it would be better imo, if the 'create a new build' experience was just playing through the game again...

and leave seasonal content leagues (if they will exist) in the endgame.

i dont want to have to start a new game to play seasonal content.

i dont want to make a new character.

i dont want to alternatively reset my character and replay for the season.

& i don't want to miss out on seasonal content if i don't do those things.

if leagues/seasons are the same in poe2,
as they are in diablo4 and poe1... i will quit.

dlcs?, good. expansions?, good.

replaying the same content with modifiers and different loot?... nty.

if the endgame content is intended to be endless, put "league" style seasonal content there... where i can enjoy it with the effort ive already put in.

and before someone says something like "thats how arpgs are" or "thats what poe is like"... i dont care. i quit diablo4 & poe1 because of it. it's the main reason d4s playerbase left.

or alternatively, if poe2 players want seasonal leagues, make some way for players like me to fight the seasonal enemies & bosses and aquire seasonal loot in the endgame as well... preferably not even seasonal.. just leave it all in so its not 'limited' or 'temporary' gear.

thanks for reading

I agree 100% This is exactly why I quit D4 as well and the reason I will not play this game anymore. I lose all the gear ive built up? All the gems, all the currency? Hell no. Not a chance
There's a very simple solution: unlock the new content in Standard concurrently with the new league release. Those that want to experience the the novel content in a reset environment can do so in the League while those of us that want to continue progressing through the new content with our current characters can do so in Standard. Everyone wins.

You don't lose anything. All of your characters and items will be migrated to the Standard/Early Access league. Note that due to changes ingame, some of your characters will no longer work as before and may need their skill trees respecced.

If you want to play the new league, then you have to create a new character in it after launch.

I do not and will not use TFT.

Not true:

Your character will lose some quest rewards that previously granted resistances, but your Spirit and Attributes values will remain unchanged.

Why exclude Standard from content updates?

Yeah but all you gotta do is go play through act 4 and the interludes (with your overleveled character it'll be easy) to get them back. EDIT: Also it's worth noting that this kind of thing is only happening during early access because they're adding in new acts. Once the full campaign is out this will never happen again.

Because they're not certain that they want to make every league a part of the core game. So basically, if you don't want to play them you could treat the leagues like a player test realm. A lot of people enjoy having the reset and starting from scratch with new, unknown mechanics, but if you don't play it you're only going to be seeing the stuff that's balanced and fun enough to make it into the core game.

It's still hard for me to understand what's everyone's problem with seasonal games being seasonal...

So why not release it the same in both and then simply remove what they don't want to remain as Core at the end?

Leagues are seasonal. This discussion is about ending the exclusion of Standard players from game updates. There is ZERO (0) reason to keep doing it.
its a seasonal game
deal whit it or play standard, league mechanics will be added to there after the season anyways.

in a seasonal game complaining its a seasonal game is something is kinda crazy.
