Game crashes on DX12 when I minimize the poe client for too long

As the title says, when I use DX12 and I leave the client minimized for too long, when I click the taskbar to switch to the game it crashes. This doesn't happen on DX11 but the performance of DX11 is pretty bad compared to DX12.
Windows 10, AMD 7800X3D, 4070Ti Super (also happened with 1060). This also happened with my previous intel pc so I don't believe it is specific to this hardware combination. Playing in windowed mode. Searching on google I found reports of this bug from 3 years ago with completely different hardware. " Are you using Steam? Disable Steam Overlay if it's on Disable any other overlays to troubleshoot. What Windows version # are you running? What NVIDIA driver # are you on? Disable Game Mode if enabled Last edited by ps7ekken on Nov 11, 2024, 4:06:50 PM

I'm not using any of that (overlays, steam etc). Latest windows 10 version. latest nvidia drivers. But this has been happening for a long time so it's not related to driver version.
