I linked my steam account with this website and my characters all disappeared??

I just started playing this game a day ago, I had a lvl 29 templar and spent 50 euros on a skin, now my character is gone after I linked my steam account to this website?? How does this happen and how do I reverse that? Is my skin that I payed 50 euros for and my character both gone for good?
