Fake account registered in my email address?

Just got an email that a PoE account with a randomized username (like SD0HSDAKSKANDDHIW - random numbers and letters) was created, using an email address I own. I have never played PoE or intended to sign up.
Looking at reddit, I see that there are a couple of people with the same issue. Please assist. Last bumped on Nov 5, 2024, 4:49:41 PM
