Standalone for POE2. Steam in Russia will be banned soon (probably)

Hi! I'm from Russia and I've been playing PoE since 2019. There are rumors in Russia that the government might ban Steam (they've already banned Discord and YouTube). This will hit players really hard. And since I really love PoE, I wouldn't want to play via VPN. Question: will you make a standalone version for PoE2?

Not sure why this keeps coming up as a question
But it is almost 100% certain that the game will have a stand alone client for a few reasons 1. A substantial chunk of the player base don't play through steam right now nor do they want to 2. from a business standpoint it means giving a portion of MTX sales done through steam to steam instead of it all going to GGG.
