Huge framedrops during blight events
Hey everyone,
just started this league and noticed that Blight encounters in maps are nearly unplayable due to severe frame drops. The game’s performance is otherwise perfectly smooth. What’s going on here? Any fixes? Honestly surprised there are still such major issues this late in the league. Is GGG aware of this, and are they planning to fix it? Any workaround suggestions would be appreciated! I’ve tried Dynamic Resolution, switched between DX11, DX12, and Vulkan, and set all graphics to low. Nothing changed. I’m running a 4090 setup, so the performance on my end should be fine. its usually 1000000000 monsters that end up invulnerable that tanks blights performance, they spawn a ridiculous number of enemies when juiced and the game performance is somewhat hinged on a majority of them dying immediately.
However when proxy shield enters the ring it immediately causes shocking performance problems, the best solution I can give you is to run a tower that handles most proxy shield mobs for you like the meteor tower burning ground anoint. In blight ravaged maps its usually just a battle against terrible performance that you can't do much about, mobs are too tanky to kill at a reasonable rate and you usually end up with a 300 rare stun locked pile making the game impossible to play. |
