Problem accessing pathofexile.com or poewiki.com or when using POB? error 522

Let me clarify that I can still play the game, but in POB and in Firefox/Chrome I get error 522 from cloudflare, as in request timeout when the cloudflare server tries to access pathofexile.com
It started last night.
Here is what I'm talking about:


If I get the error, I have to restart my router to get a new IP and then sometimes it works, like now, sometimes it doesn`t. If I get the error in POB when trying to read the character list on when trying to update the tree or skills/items then it usually stops working in Firefox/Chrome too.
I got one instance where the site was not working in Firefox but working in Chrome, which is totally weird.
Clearing cache/cookies didn`t help, it was the first thing I tried.

I asked on help forum, emailed support, but due to limited resources they can`t handle the issue. I don`t blame them, probably working on other things for POE2(hopefully). And this is a very weird problem that is not trivial and I can still play the game and access the websites(until the error appears then I have to restart my router to get a new IP).
I can use POB, but I can`t sync items/skills or the skill tree.
It's just REALLY REALLY annoying.

I don`t know what to do, maybe someone has some insight.
Probably the issue will go away at some point.

A temp solution could be a VPN, but I don`t have one and I don`t plan to try/buy one.

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

I'm encountering the same issue as you - on my side it usually fixes itself after some random amount of time (no router/pc restart)

It's very weird since it happens also when accesing the site from mobile phone, using 4G/5G connection.

I really hope this gets solved soon since i can't restart the router every time it happens

I have the same problem. I try it in different browsers. I tried resetting the router to factory settings and the problem is still the same. The only thing that helps me is to turn on the VPN in Opera. But when I go through a VPN, of course the quality of the connection drops. I also tried it via mobile phone. And always the same. Also via mobile data. I'm already sad about it. It's been doing this to me for a few days. I can't go to pathofexile.com. So I can't even use the trade page

I have the same problem, connecting from Orange SK network.
It started this weekend. Game runs fine, but website including trade and forums are not accessible. Same message - Cloudflare Bucharest to pathofexile.com timeout error.
Funny thing is, that in the morning everything is fine, but later, in the evening the error returns (at least for the last three days)
Seems to be dependent on ISP / routing, because I can see the site is up using cellphone (different isp).
As stated, VPN or proxy could be temporary solution...

Same here. The official POE page (pathofexile.com) is inaccessible for the most of the day including trade and price checking extension of course. poewiki.net also doesn't work and POB cannot sync data. There's just Cloudflare 522 timeout page. It's basically SSF play with in-game trade. It started to happen on 25th October and it's really annoying. The router restart doesn't help for me even when I get a new IP address.

I have the same problem. it needs to write more and more about this so that tech support will pay attention. to the mail in support@grindinggear.com
they also replied that they are very busy... It's good that I found this topic, because I thought that I was the only one with that problem. if you just need the site pathofexile.com, the Touch VPN plugin helps. but you can't use pob and awakened trade ((( just have to wait for the technical support of the site to pay attention....

I'm in exactly same situation as others describe. It's very frustrating having to play (S)SF in a trade league.

small update. It's 6:28 in the morning and everything is fine. The website works for me through my internet and mobile data. Problems always start in the afternoon.

I am facing the same problem, it does not matter which browser I will use I can't connect to https://www.pathofexile.com. I am always blocked by cloudflare with 522 error.

Game is running properly using steam.

Tried multiple things hoping to fix it but no success.

When I use vpn then it works. But latency and performance sucks.

It is really frustrating!
