Boss mechanics designed for mouse should play differently on controller
I attempted the Exarch fight hundreds of times since its release, but my success rate of completing the ball phase deathless is around 40-50%. It is really difficult to move with the analog sticks as accurate as with a mouse.
Dashing to a specific location is almost impossible - you hold the stick in a direction the fire away, hoping it teleports me to the correct location (it almost never does). Generally movement is less precise, and most of the time it feels that I'm dying not because I was not able to see through a pattern of balls but simply my inabilty to control the character the way I intended. Please hear me out - optimize the fight for controller a bit more. I mean - let the Maven destroy more adjacent balls leaving bigger gaps and/or make the balls roll slower, so the fight is fair with a controller too! Actually, the same issue also exist for the last phase of the Maven fight. Watching PC players dashing to the cursor feels almost cheating, given that it is impossible to move like that with the controller. Slower rotating lasers and/or larger moving gap between lazers would also make this fight less difficult for controllers! Last bumped on Oct 17, 2024, 3:12:19 PM

dude that fight is super easy to complete, the ball faze always walk past the balls that are oncoming first before deciding to change a direction ie if the balls are coming from the top are closest move past them move through the ones on the left if there 2nd as a example
its all about practise and being able to reconise which the order is Last edited by WarhawkOfficial on Oct 17, 2024, 2:54:30 PM
