Transgems should be rare drops, rather than incentivize running boring content

It would improve the drop system.
Ritual/heist could give Tgems instead of Offerings, giving more diverse rewards. Lab would still be mandatory without a divine font. Without a divine font, quality gems would be worth more. GGG only caters to their beloved league sheep and whales, majority of whom treat Standard like it doesn't exist. Not everyone enjoys temp leagues.

PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. | |

Terrible idea. Running lab is already awful for the gems but being random drop from specific content would make it even worse.

I am all for nuking lab from low orbit and salting the ashes
But more randomness is not the direction to go here. As much as I HATE the lab it is still a relatively consistent source of the gems |

i wouldnt be against ALSO dropping in something like pinnacle bosses, the non uber versions. just an extra thing that can drop there, give people a bit more reason to run their normal shapers, elders etc, on top of them being a lab mechanic.
