GGG...a question.

How does it feel to always be losing customers? I couldn't imagine losing customers all the time due to bad mechanics. Is this a business model that you are use to? Hype things up just to be mostly a let down? How do the people who stay with it, cope with it? Do some people who buy in to your mtx's feel duped when some things are dramatically changed? Or, don't work at all? Me personally, I don't see how people keep giving you money. Just my thought of the day.

Good question. I just bought a few more stash tabs, but definitely don't worship the game. It does however have a crap ton of content. Unfortunately there is quite a bit of it that really is crap.
Yes i feel duped when they just changed MTX i've purchased or given them away to people afk on twitch for free.

It didn't cost them a customer at that time but it definitely made me feel a little less like spending my money.

pretty much every game looses customers.

PoE is slightly different though as they tend to retain a player base that regularly come back to the game every league even if it's only for a few week, and that base has only grown in the years since the game launched.

Is every single league going to appeal to you? fuck no, and they should not try to go that route, take a break if you don't like what you are playing, do something different, come back later.

As to WHY people give them money? this is brain dead simple, the game is actively developed with new stuff getting added every 3 to 4 months and ALL for free (you don't even need stash tabs) the sheer amount of time you put into the game is far greater than most other games including AAA ones that cost $60+ to even find out how shit they are.

Agree.

Also when game gives a lot of fun its just a matter of time when one will buy something. IMHO its like buying box version of game. They do good job they deserve that money.
Youre infact wrong, poe grows every league. For example this league compared to the previous one had around 40.000 new players starting the league.

https://poedb.tw/us/League#ConcurrentPlayers

If you mean that players leave the league after some time and then come back next league is totally fine its how poe works.

This league broke the all time record for concurent players, has the highest/2nd highest player retention of all leagues that existed (only affliction surpasses it after the first month), and you saying "how does it feel to be always loosing customers?"

"I don't see how people keep giving you money", because they are a great company that actually listens to their costumers, made a FREE game, that introduces new content every 3 months .That's why.

Go play D4 instead, buy the game, buy every expansion that releases, buy the MTX in the store and recieve in 2 years the ammount of content we receive in POE every 3 months for free.

Edit: Wow, looking at your profile you have literally been saying "bad league, bad game, dont give them money" literally since 2020.Just quit the game dude.Go play something else.
