Need Help - Lag Spikes [MTR log]
Beginning of the 3.25 league was smooth for me, but when I returned today after a few weeks, I've been experiencing lag spikes in every map I load into. I'm not even mapping anything intensive, just trying to get through the starting campaign.
Occasionally a town will be smooth, but maps are always getting lag spikes. Host reads at 14% packet loss. WinMTR Log: https://pastebin.com/rYAsw35q I've tried switching between DirectX and Vulkan, capping my FPS, having all my settings on low, switching my main California server to other servers, but it doesn't help. Same thing happened to me today. I've been running very juiced maps with no issues then today I'm getting spikes all over the place. The latency goes somewhat high (maybe 190 or so on the GUI) but it feels like packet loss. Some zones work perfectly fine with 7-14 ms. I have no idea what is going on but please let me know if you find a solution.

I am having the same issues from California. Here is my MTR log

Same thing for me starting a few hours ago. It varies by instance, but I think it's not consistent by server. I am definitely seeing inconsistent results compared to WinMTR. Sometimes WinMTR says I have steady 20ms and I'm seeing 70-330ms in game; sometimes WinMTR says lossy 70ms and I'm seeing steady 20ms in game.

I'm not sure how to interpret this either. I have something similar where my in-game latency counter punches up to 500+ms but that doesn't seem to be reflected in WinMTR?
I've also been able to play other games without any noticeable lag spikes, haven't had any issues with streaming either. Is the issue really with my ISP? | |
I've had the same issue since last night. Live in CA and have Frontier as well.

I have to use a vpn for circumvent this, but I would really appreciate this if this can be resolved.

Live in Cal, same problem

Just wanted to report I'm also having the same issues with Frontier in CA.

chiming in with frontier in southern california as well. it's pretty inconsistent, but more often laggy than not and started yesterday evening for me.
here's a winmtr trace for one of my laggy instances: https://pastebin.com/9ZhQhGQf and here's one for an instance that is not lagging at all: https://pastebin.com/FYruBpJu |
