Sunder jugg detting destroyed
Hello people, first of all i hope you can see my char in my profile as i have set it on Public viewing.
My damage is pretty good and i can do tier 10 maps kinda fast, but i have some serious trouble with my survivability when i pop strongboxes and when i face some unique packs and i can't locate what the problem is? Maybe a hard or dumb question but can someone please check me out and see what i can do better? It's hard to explain but something feels very wrong. When i die i just get completely melted and have no chance of even dashing away from it. The best way to explain it is even i had 15k armor it feels like i would still die in those situations and it happen once in about every map which cause me to stand still on leveling atm. Your gem setup is a big part of your problem (looks like you are following the old school way).
The new way is sunder ... Over exertion, pulverize, fist of war, (awakened) physical damage, brutality. Just switching to that should up your damage significantly vs your current setup. sunder of earth breaking is too low damage, you benefit from regular sunder. You can check out PoE ninja or check my character zelnon that has about 1 million impale DPS which may not be amazing but it went up a lot when I switched to level 21 Sunder and did the 6 red gem setup. 15k armor isn't enough. You need like 30k+ plus damage taken as element, plus some evasion. Your belt and amulet aren't up to the task. You want blood and sand, pride, and your choice of flesh and stone or herald of purity. Just a quick run through, here is what I would change...
Swap the gem in weapon - multistrike for lifetap. Also put phys on the weapon with the rune forge - not ignite. And I'd run a similar POB to mine, deviate as you need to for what you like, but survival wise, It should be a signifigant boost to survival. Also, your ascendancies... One needs to be rolled back, the elemental one, which will be 10 or 12 orb of regrets. See my POB for last two ascendancies. Do your last ascendancy (using the lab fragment). https://pobb.in/xSsi-dqrTon_ Mine is nothing special, but it can clear the content. Following mine to a T requires a lot of accuracy. You use resolute technique (which is fine), but requires no accuracy. Just keep that in mind, don't take precise technique. And I use Undeniable (you can keep using up to unflinching, just don't go to elemental stuffs). If you plan on maintaining no need for accuracy, that is. If you go the accuracy route, mirror my ascendancies, and then grab precise technique, lose resolute. You'll squeeze more damage out. :) Using the precise technique route requires an accuracy rating higher than your max health. As far as my gems are concerned, use whatever you have or can afford. You don't need to have exact, just use what works. Just think along the lines of pure phys, though.
Why? You're not doing elemental damage. Everything about your build says Phys. As does mine, but you're taking some elemental nodes, etc. It's much easier to focus on pure phys. As you're already gemmed and geared for it too. Just change that ignite to phys with the rune forge in your town on your weapon. 10 to 50 war rune cost depending on level you're looking to use. You have a decent phys axe, so feed it some more! |

And what the guys said before, use blood and sand. Sand stance will reduce damage take by 10%. Also, if you can afford, or down the road, eldritch orb your gears.
Gloves: blue eldritch (eater of worlds) to spell suppress red eldritch (searing exarch) to attack speed. Helm: Blue eldritch to: mana reservation Red eldritch to: damage take recouped as life (Can be fire too, if standard damage taken on chest) Chest: Blue eldritch: Determination aura boost or armor % Red eldrich to: All aura increased effect (somthing like that lol) OR damage taken (element or not) recouped as life.
