Path of Exile on the console
In recent times, we have often heard Mark comment that when playing, he saw many areas of improvement and felt the pain that we players feel.
Of course, we understand very well that you are the ones who make the game and that you know how things are, after all it is your product! But what do I mean by these comments? In this case, I want to say that if we had more people from the GGG internal team playing directly on the console, many things could be easier for you to understand and realize how painful some things can be. It is important to highlight that playing with Joystick on PC does not represent the same gameplay that we have on the console! It is similar, but not the same in many ways. We understand that this is much more of a person's preference than something they should do, but it's worth trying to find a crazy guy to play console and try to have that same feeling as Mark. In Path of Exile 1, a lot of things have already improved. Adam and Alexander, who always appear on the Bugs forum, do the most for us! And I believe there are a lot of people behind who are dedicated to helping with this too. I thank everyone for the great work. But I believe that if you don't have an inner maniac playing Path of Exile directly on the console, I recommend that you try to do so for a brief period at least. " Could not agree more, this is a critical issue to improve console gameplay and by extension player base size. Both PoE and PoE2 need this if GGG expect console market (which has younger players with generally larger disposable income) to grow and hence become more profitable. |
