I created 2 separate Path of Exile accounts by mistake

Hello,

Because of how Path of Exile website/forums Login works I created two separate Path of Exile accounts:

1 linked to my Steam Account

&

1 linked to my email address (which is the same email of my Steam Account)


I wanted merge those two POE accounts together, however this is not possible. Why is that the case? To me this is very dumb.

Please, help.
