Race event for Settlers league

Hey all,

Recently I got into PoE and I've been having a blast, so much that I started picking off achievements one by one. Even did the infamous CTF achievement.

But seems that if I'm to 100% PoE I would need to complete a certain achievement that is restricted to a specific timeframe - Out of the Gate (Reach level 8 in any Race Event).

If I saw correctly there has been some Race Events earlier this year for the precious league and I was wondering if there will be Race Event in Settlers League?

It would be really great if we at least got one last chance for the achievement.

Please bring back Race Events even if it's for one last time. : )

I'm suprised that GGG never expanded on private leagues to races.....

When there were races, there were 2 troll modes called BLAMT and LA(C)TIF

B Blood Magic doesn't exist

L stood for lethal = 50% more damage. Priv leagues offer only 10+20 so 30% or
45% elemental

A stood for Ancestral, meaning totems everywhere doesn't exist

M Multishot it +4 so kind of exists(just +2)

T Turbo = 60% more speed only 10+20 exist


C was Cutthroat doesn't exist despite it being promised

I was Immolation meaning all mobs left burning ground doesn't exist and I think all your damage was converted to fire damage

F = Famine does exist.

Then there was fixed seed= everybody has the same mapseed.

There was Descent, Descent Champions.

Endless Ledge(well not so endless) since each area increased by one level and you would let the instance expire on longer Endless Ledge races as you wouldn't level up otherwise.

There were also races starting in A2 or A3.

It might be worth considering making this achievement unlockable without racing events, so people don't have to constantly ask GGG for it.

I just unlocked the achievement in Ziz Settlers HCSSF Class Gauntlet. So whoever wants it, go get in that race event.
