Load screen crash - Losing High rank settlers

Having multiple load screen crashes as of 3.25. Multiple threads mention this, so i'll step over the issue and address the consequences.

Full sets of sailors & Atlas Runners are being lost due to these crashes. Whenever the kidnap event occurs for either settler group, and the game crashes on load screen on entering the event, you CANNOT re-enter the event after logging back in.

In addition, you CANNOT pay the ransom either after reconnect as the ransom button stays greyed out even if you have the right amount of gold.

If the load screen crashes cannot be fixed, PLEASE fix this specific consequence, as losing 6 rank 9 settlers + the 40-50k gold from the boss + the loot obtained from the runners is absolutely horrible.
