proposal for forgotten uniques

a lot of uniques have fall out of grace and could be saved with a little buff.

i will start with The Burden of Shadows Primordial Staff

Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 1 Lifetap
(20-30)% increased Cast Speed
Lose 500 Life per second
Spells deal added Chaos Damage equal to (15-20)% of your maximum Life

like the concept of a life version of archmage and on paper the added damage is great but outside that mod the staff gives little to nothing and is outclassed by Rathpith Globe that gives tons of increased damage and crit and does not need to sacrifice the weapon slot.

couple mods that could make it worth it:

1% increased maximum health per 2% Uncapped chaos resistance

socketed chaos skills gain +1 level every 3500 maximum life

3% increased damage of socketed skills per 1% Uncapped chaos resistance

Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 20 Increased Area of Effect
+10 to Strength
(120-160)% increased Physical Damage
Gain 10 Mana per Enemy Killed
+(120-150) to Accuracy Rating
+0.2 metres to Weapon Range


it does not bring anything special and is outclassed by other uniques in its tier level.

1% more area of effect per Level
+10 to Strength
(120-160)% increased Physical Damage
Gain 10 Mana per Enemy Killed
+(120-150) to Accuracy Rating
Adds 1 to 2 Physical Damage to Attacks per 0.12 aoe they have
