Refund Guild Coins

I created a guild and bought a guild currency stash tab just around an hour ago (both created and bought the stash tab around the same time) only to find out that the guild stash tabs are horribly clunky due to technical/server constraints.

So I decided to contact support for a refund as I have had zero issues with refunds since a few years back. Support replied that they can't refund coins that have been "donated" to the guild back to my account and can only refund the guild stash tab purchase back to guild coins. The thing is guild stuff does not have an option to directly buy the tabs from your account. You have to "donate" the coins to the guild then purchase the tabs using the guild coins. I would've bought the guild tab directly if it had the option, but there was none.

Is there really no way to refund this?
