Skill Effects too Bright

Hello,

Is there any way for me to reduce skill effect brightness?
I was playing around with the Raise Spectre gem and created a build around it, but I found the Spectre's (Spirit of Fortune's Shock Nova) skills to be too bright.
I tried using an MTX on the Spectre but that does nothing about the color scheme of the skill being cast and there is no way for me to equip shock nova MTX to the Spectre.
I tried messing around with Graphics Display with my driver but even that does very little as the rest of the game becomes too dark.
My bloom is already at the minimum... and I'm not seeing any other way to alter skill brightness.

I know many other POE skills tend to be very bight too and was wondering if there is any alternative way to deal with it.
