Latency / Ping problems, switching instances etc.

Hello, since yesterday the latency has been driving me crazy.

Normally my ping is around 35 on idle (hideout, town etc).

Now when load into a public town it is still 35, but when I load into my hideout it is average 100 and in maps at minimum 100 but spiking to 200-250 every few seconds.

Switching hideouts did not resolve this, switching gateways (london->milan->paris) also did nothing.
