Path Of Exile freezing on loading screen.

So I have been having this issue for a while and I know its been posted about a lot but I can't seem to fix it at all
I got it to work for about a day after deleting the steam version and installing the standalone one but just today I try to load in and its back to the same thing.
I have heard that downgrading my driver could work but I play other games that would be effected by downgrading my driver.
My specs are:

Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13420H 2.10 GHz
Installed RAM 24.0 GB (23.6 GB usable)
Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB Laptop GPU

Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Turns out I didn't try anything, seemed to be an overlay issue. Unsure if it was Medal, Discord, or Nvidia overlay but disabling those seemed to have fixed it.
