Server Connection issues

Ever since this latest League I've had problems with connecting to the server. I'm Running a gaming laptop, Predator Helios 300, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. Never had any problems with any other League/update but now it's unplayable. Will I actually loose all my progress and can't play any further?
