Deleted my account by accident?

I was trying to link my trade account to my game account via steam and apparently somehow deleted my account. My settlers char was named Katniseverlame or something along those lines but I guess I didnt even realize the steam account was different. When it asked my to link and delete my old account I didnt realize what I was doing. Any help? I have already emailed support.
