Ship Boss fight bugged

Hi

Why is has the Ship boss fight 1 portal. The fight is keeps crashing my game and all is lost. This is bad game design and doesn't think of people with Internet and PC problems.

1. Why 1 portal - bad
2. No way to pay for randson - button always grayed out (300K)
