Muted for a week? Related to char name?

Hello!
My characters name was inappropriate and had to be renamed. I got a message that said something about being logged out in a few moments and before I had read the entire message I was logged out. Renamed my character and logged back in only to find I've also been muted for 1 week? This seems unfair, I'm pretty sure I didn't say or do anything that warrants this punishment?
Can someone help with this?

Sidenote; I can't use trade at all basically now, right?
